Don't miss the Quality Construction Alliance Legislative Conference, May 1-3
The Quality Construction Alliance -- a coalition of five specialty union contractor associations, including TAUC -- will hold its annual National Issues Conference May 1-3 at the Renaissance Hotel Downtown in Washington, D.C.
The annual conference is a great opportunity for contractors to network with Washington policy experts and engage in face-to-face meetings with members of Congress and/or their staffs.
A significant portion of this year's Legislative Conference will focus on the Retirement Security Review Commission's multiemployer pension proposal entitled "Solutions Not Bailouts" as union contractors from across the country will descend on Capitol Hill to promote this package before the Pension Protection Act of 2006 expires.
